It’s easy when we’re unhappy about an issue that is completely within our control to blame our unhappiness on someone else. But being a victim is rarely the path to success or happiness.

I am already feeling so much excitement in the air about 2015. If you desire 2015 to be your best year yet as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, here’s some sage advice from Eleanor Roosevelt.
I’ve been privileged for 32 years to share my ideas with Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. Sometimes I inspire. Sometimes I excite. Sometimes I provoke. I know I’m onto something when I incite an RN or two into apoplexy and yes, that happened at least once or twice this year.
TGIF? Yes? After all, today is not just any Friday, it’s the Friday after Christmas and for many of us that means a five day weekend. It doesn’t get much better than that!
This has been an exciting year for me. I’ve trekked with endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda, attended a hilltop party hosted by my favorite Napa Valley wineries, experienced a 6.0 earthquake and had the privilege of creating a Bucket List experience for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants when Oprah dropped in on our Consultant 2.0 reception.
When I was born Dad knew I would be different. He didn’t know why – he just knew. He sure didn’t know I’d start this crazy legal nurse consulting business, train Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, appear on national TV, author a New York Times bestselling book or rub shoulders with powerful people, but not once did he ever express surprise at my successes.
