One of my most Memorable CLNC cases came early on in my career. I had just obtained a legal nurse consultant job from a local plaintiff attorney who specialized in nursing home litigation.
Summer is well upon us and all Certified Legal Nurse Consultants will be heading into the great outdoors to enjoy everything from barbequing, water skiing, Little League games, outdoor patio happy hours, splashing about in the pool and just sitting around working on world-class tans.
I was talking to a legal nurse consultant about her business plan. She carefully outlined her 90-day marketing plan which included contacting a list of attorney-prospects she obtained from networking and exhibiting at a legal conference.

I love my laptop but it’s got a grand total of four USB ports. That’s not a whole lot of ports in a storm in my computing world. My computer’s dock has spaces for my keyboard, mouse and two more, but I need some additional USB ports to get through my day.

With Independence Day this week we’ve all had an opportunity to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. While we’re all free, we don’t all enjoy the same freedoms. Here’s a thought for success: “Success equals more freedom.”
Here we are in the heat of July. While I wait for the Texas summer to pass I thought I’d tell you a quick winter tale to cool you down. We don’t get many hard freezes here in Houston and when the weather does turn cold, the outdoor parts of the city quickly turn into a ghost town.
