It’s easy when we’re unhappy about an issue that is completely within our control to blame our unhappiness on someone else. But being a victim is rarely the path to success or happiness.
You’re in charge of you. If you want your condition to be different ask “What can I personally do to make it so?” You, and only you, get to decide where you’re going to be this time next year. Own your life and legal nurse consulting career and you will be guaranteed more success and more happiness.

Well said, Vickie. It takes so much more energy to inner reflect and give yourself a good talking to. It takes much less energy to blame someone else and pout. My life is much like my experience with LASIK, when I start losing focus, I go in for an enhancement.
Linda, love the analogy
So true. The CLNC® consulting journey is exciting and full of surprises. 2013 was not a great year – had to kick myself in the rear and get into gear. I am not blameless because I didn’t have the guts to say “no” to friends when I used my marketing time for an adventure in gold panning. I am not a victim because I know better and all we found was “fool’s gold!” My time is valuable and is worth its weight in real gold as a CLNC® consultant. I know it is a good thing to do recreation, in moderation, but not when it took me away from the business.
I keep questioning myself… what have I not thought of or done yet to accomplish my goals as a CLNC® consultant?
