We often think the way to grow our legal nurse consulting business is to surround ourselves with vendors, CLNC subcontractors and attorneys who think the way we do, when in fact they shrink our world.
For 35 years I’ve been very blessed to consult with successful trial attorneys who I like and respect. Along the way I’ve run across a toad or two.

The proliferation of home and office-based wireless networks has made things so easy for us. It’s hard to remember a day when you had to hard-wire a computer to the Internet in order to get online.
I’ve always preferred consulting with attorneys who trust that I know what they need for their legal nurse consultant jobs. After all, I’m the professional consultant. It’s music to my ears to hear the attorney say, “Vickie, just do what you need to do on this case. I trust you know what I need.”
Many assume the most successful and happiest Certified Legal Nurse Consultants have had it easy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Some of our most successful CLNC consultants have had twins, brain surgery, custody battles and nasty divorces.
Thank you for making the 2017 National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants Conference Cruise such a success. I loved hearing how much you learned from the CLNC speakers and watching you network with your new CLNC friends. I had such an awesome time with all of you.
