Just when I thought I was maxed out and operating at full capacity, the universe threw a curve ball at me. I was left with no choice but to step up to the plate and face that curve ball head on. It’s in these situations that I summon my own personal Thought for Success “If you want the impossible done give it to a woman on fire.”
When I talk to Certified Legal Nurse Consultants I’m often surprised at how few of them use social media to promote their legal nurse consulting businesses. Social media is powerful and it’s free. If you have 200 friends, each of those friends will have 200 friends and each of those friends will have more friends.
Everyone likes to keep their phones handy at all times. Whether it’s in your pocket, purse, cup holder in your car or on your desk. Communication is key for all Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, their legal nurse consulting subcontractors and attorney-clients.
This morning I struggled to get my body to the gym and easily had 10 reasons why I needed to skip my workout and stay in bed. Almost all of the reasons related to the work piled up on my credenza and some to the comfort of my pillow.
I recently mentored a new Certified Legal Nurse Consultant who had been unjustly terminated from her RN job at the hospital. She had a flawless 25-year record and strongly suspected the termination had to do with a particular physician she had reported to administration.
I was complaining to a friend about the life of my iPhone® battery. My friend, who’s not normally on the cutting edge of tech, told me that I had too many background apps running and that I should shut them all down. This (finger waving in the air) he claimed was adversely affecting my battery life.
