I respect RNs and Certified Legal Nurse Consultants who don’t like to make mistakes. After all, saving lives, doing a superlative legal nurse consultant job or providing stellar service to an attorney-client begins with the intention to not err.
I’m always mystified by RNs who are afraid to start even a part-time legal nurse consulting business. I’m not talking about quitting your RN job at the hospital and taking a great leap of faith into the unknown.
Procrastination is not always bad. I hear people say, “Finish what you start,” or “You had that new idea, where did you go with it?”
Do you wake up happy and ready to see what the day has in store for you? Or do you wake up to mental clutter and negativity? What’s an unhappy person to do?
One of my favorite quotes, “Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least” is a wonderful reminder that life is meant to be grand.
We all have an inner teacher (our own voice) ready to show us the way as long as we’re willing to be a student of our own intelligence. In yoga class the teacher is essential, but the reflection in the mirror is the best teacher of all.
Being born American, we certainly hit the birth lottery. But where we’re born, and who we’re born to, does not completely tell the story of who we’re destined to become.
With the July 4th holiday approaching, it’s natural to celebrate the freedoms that we experience as Americans. While the freedoms we enjoy are a gift of being born in the USA, certain freedoms (even here in the land of the free) have to be earned – an indisputable truth our founding fathers proclaimed.
I like to believe that one of my favorite quotes “People who say ‘It can’t be done,’ are always being interrupted by somebody doing it” describes me. Yes, I like to be the person doing what others say can’t be done.
You wake up to a new day each day. Waiting for you in that new day is possibility. Yesterday is over and tomorrow is yet to be determined.
