In sharing a typical day in the life of a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, I could expound upon lots of reading, writing, and communicating with attorney-clients. I can even tell you about long and arduous depositions. Then I could tell you about those amazingly stressful testifying days during a trial. Today, I’m going to share a day that is not so typical but possible because I can somewhat control my schedule as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
If it’s a day that is not already booked with deadlines and appointments, I can decide to take the day to either do something for myself or visit loved ones. Yesterday was one of those days. I have a great Aunt that is 100 years old and lives three hours away. I had not seen her in a few months and decided I needed to visit her, and although I needed to work on a case, I made the time to do something that was equally as important. I was able to control my daily schedule and invest my time in something that counts in life!
Once again, we had a great visit and it was the best use of my time, as I can always have a workday in my home office. I’m thankful for my CLNC® business that allows me the luxury of prioritizing my day for life and doing the things I love, along with working as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
