I frequently counsel RNs who are so extremely stressed out that they can’t see anything better for their future in nursing. They’re stuck in their past.
In these moments I like to quote Marilyn Ferguson who reminds us “Your past is not your potential.” I also like to lighten my message to RNs with Tim McGraw’s lyrics “I’m learning who you’ve been ain’t who you’ve got to be. I ain’t as good as I’m gonna get, but I’m better than I used to be.”
At any moment you can free yourself from the past and choose to liberate your future. Make that moment now.
Success Is Yours,
P.S. Comment and share how you free yourself from the past to liberate your future.
