Happy Independence Day to All Certified Legal Nurse Consultants
Independence Day means different things to different people. For some people it represents the traditional July 4th American Independence Day. I am privileged to have traveled all over the world and have visited many amazing places. But one thing I am grateful for each and every day is that I am an American.
Independence Day can also be about a day that you discovered your newfound independence: the day you went full-time as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and left the hospital behind. Or the day you left a toxic relationship. Or the day you discovered you could make it to the peak of the mountain.
Happy Independence Day – wherever you are in America and wherever you are in your personal quest for independence.

I have achieved my goal in February this year of my MSN in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Education. I have been an RN for 34 years and have held a variety of career positions over the years with each one adding to my expertise both clinically and educationally. I am looking for a position that has no on call and day hours. My areas of expertise are gerontology and psychiatric nursing. I currently work as Nursing Director of ICF/ID for the past 4 years. If you or any of your colleagues have knowledge of where I might use my MSN expertise, it would be much appreciated. I live in Iowa.
I do agree that Freedom is not Free and our service men and women pay a price for our freedom. I am blessed to be an American as well. Let our government see that our rights and Constitution to be free in thought, word and deed be upheld and as our founding fathers based our country with “IN GOD WE TRUST”, let us never lose sight of this important part of our country and our lives.
