One of our favorite things about cruising is having a glass of champagne as the ship sails. Yesterday most of us did just that. The simple ceremony of sailing is such a fine tradition.
We’re having so much fun already with everyone and this is only Day 2. Today we’re in the Bahamas at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island paradise. Several of us have been here before and already know the best spots for a private walk on the beach and some skinny-dipping. For everyone else, there’s great beaches, plenty of lounge chairs and all sorts of activities like swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing and for the Certified Legal Nurse Consultants who feel the need for speed, one of the tallest slides in North America.
When you’re hungry have lunch al fresco on the beach. Then it’s time for another of our favorite activities – resting in a shady hammock. Some of us already have ours picked out!
This evening we have MANDATORY NACLNC Conference Registration at 6:30pm. We’ll all meet up in the Music Hall on Deck 8, aft to register. I’m sure everyone will be at registration early because the NACLNC Welcome Reception starts as soon as you get signed in. Dress is casual and cabinmates are welcome to attend. Then, with drinks and business cards in hand, you can start networking with your CLNC® colleagues and get your CLNC legs on in style!
More tomorrow!
P.S. Comment and share your favorite beach activity, even if it’s just sleeping in the sun.
