Here’s a question I’ve got for all Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. Are you a good student or a not-so-good student?
I mentor Certified Legal Nurse Consultants in a variety of ways – over the phone, via email, at live CLNC® Certification Seminars and exhibiting together at legal conferences. A good and smart legal nurse consulting student uses my 34 years of extensive legal nurse consulting experience by heeding my advice. And you do so no matter how difficult it is to implement the advice.
A good legal nurse consulting student takes not just the good news, but also the bad and the ugly. Only when you implement the difficult strategies I recommend will you use my experience to your advantage and to achieve your optimal level of success. If you only heed the advice that either feels good or is easy for you to implement, you’re not using my advice to its full capacity.
The next time I, or any of the CLNC Mentors, advise you, ask yourself, “Am I a good student?” If the answer is yes, you’re on your way to more CLNC success.
Success Is Yours!
P.S. Comment here and share whether you’re a good legal nurse consulting student and why.
I believe that I am a good student; however, even good students can get distracted by life sometimes and it can be hard to get going again.
Vickie shows us that all of us nurses have the background we need to get started, and that there is nothing that we cannot do when we have the right tools for the job. You just have to get out there and use them!
Thanks for the inspiration to make that happen!
I believe I would be a good consultant because I am motivated and I am willing to do what it takes to succeed. I am able to take constructive criticism and change my practice for the better. I am a self-starter and quick learner.
