Great Expectations

I admit, when it comes to my appetite (for life that is), I’m a greedy person. I have high expectations for my life and career and I plan on having them as long as I have a life. Without expectations and desires, we don’t have a life at all. I’m big on acting on our dreams, not just dreaming them.

But, I’d be remiss if I didn’t share that I’m noticing a lot of nurses who quit on themselves before their time is up. It hurts me when I talk to nurses who are okay with the hand-me-downs. Trust me, you don’t have to be. The world is there for your taking – if you’re bold enough to reach out and take it.

Trust me on this one too, if you don’t set expectations for yourself – no one else will.

I’m just sayin’

P.S. Comment here and share how you set your expectations for yourself.
