While exhibiting at a legal conference with the VIP Pros, I observed that one of the Certified Legal Nurse Consultants was having trouble getting to the point. Nothing I said to her was working.

It took one of the attorneys, who was kind enough to take her under his wing, to get her right. He advised: “When you’re talking to attorneys, give it to us straight up, warts and all. We want straight answers to our questions. Don’t beat around the bush or you’ll appear weak and we’ll move on.”

The Certified Legal Nurse Consultant took that attorney’s advice to heart and the rest of the day stepped up and spoke to attorney-prospects with confidence and conviction.

Attorneys are crazy busy. The “give it to me straight” advice applies to every situation in your legal nurse consulting business. And that’s the straight up facts.
