You are right Vickie. Some people just wish for good things to fall into their laps, but that won’t happen. As my granny used to say, “wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up the fastest.” I take my work ethic from her. She believed that if you do an excellent job then you should get paid for it. That is how she trained me. When I would clean a house or do yard work (it had to be the nastiest house or most overgrown yard), she would inspect it and if it wasn’t up to her standards then she would tell them to keep their money and not pay me. Believe me, putting in all that sweat and effort was hard, but cutting corners to get the job done faster was not worth it. But I was stubborn and it took a couple of houses and yards before I learned my lesson. Believe me, that was a lifetime lesson. I have learned that doing it correctly has its own reward of developing a sterling reputation. In other words, my belief is that you get back what you put into your CLNC® business: your passion, soul, expert effort – and that is your client’s worth.
