We’re almost two weeks into Spring, a season that promises something new. Just as we witness myriad transformations in nature, so should we be witnessing transformation in ourselves. That’s why I love Audrey Hepburn’s quote “Paris is always a good idea.”
No other city has the power to seduce and enchant you into believing you can be anyone and do anything. When I need inspiration, a short trip to Paris makes me feel as though I can accomplish anything by leaps and bounds. I never tire of the “City of Light.” While I love the iconic tourist attractions like the Eiffel Tower, Place de Vosges and any shop selling fresh baguettes (remind me to tell you the story of carrying a hot baguette across half of Paris only to drop it at the subway stop by my hotel), it’s walking Paris’s unique arrondissements that feed my soul.
If you’re thinking “Vickie, I can’t just hop on a plane to Paris any time I need inspiration.” I understand because I can’t do that either. But, as an immigrant friend once told me “America isn’t just a country, it’s a dream, an ideal.” To me, Paris is the same. It’s not just a city; it’s a dream, an ideal and a state of mind. So, I try to bring what Paris represents to me into my life in form of daily renewal strategies (and a fresh baguette now and then).
In my April 3, 2018 blog I’ll share the proven renewal strategies that have continued to seduce and enchant me into legal nurse consulting success for 36 years. Yes, Paris is always a good idea, even if it’s just in your mind.
Success Is Yours!
