Who Wants a Cupcake? Or Not!

I was little late reading the August issue of National Geographic and I quickly regretted that I missed the cupcake on the cover. Normally I’m immune to cupcakes, but there was something about this one that got my attention. I WANTED that cupcake.

The August issue featured a story on sugar in all its natural and unnatural forms, colors and cravings. It’s funny to me that in 2013 we’re still reading articles about how everyone is addicted to sugar and why we can’t resist it. We even keep inventing more and more artificial and “natural” forms of sugar so we can delude ourselves into thinking we’re eating healthy sugar.

If you doubt the power of sugar, need to resist it a bit more or are noticing early signs of dementia when you are analyzing your legal nurse consulting cases, this article is a must-read. After all, your attorney-clients deserve a work product that’s not encumbered by your brain being stupid on sugar.

I’m Just Sayin’

P.S. Comment and share your feelings about sugar and cupcakes.
