Certified Legal Nurse Consultant Robin Budnick shares how she got her first case exhibiting at a national legal conference.
Robin: Hi, I’m Robin and I’m a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
I’m here at a national conference exhibiting to attorneys for the first time. I’ve had a wonderful time and it was a great experience. I’ve learned a lot and in one day I’ve become so much more comfortable talking to attorneys.
I talked to one attorney who, lo and behold, had a case he wants me to look at. We talked about this case which involved a woman who gave birth to a baby and later on was readmitted to the hospital with a bowel obstruction and died of complications. He wants me to look at the case with a fresh set of eyes ASAP!
I’m going home tonight to turn on my computer and look at the files that he has uploaded to my Dropbox account. I’m so excited to start doing this. This is the start of my CLNC® business and I’m so grateful to the Institute for teaching me. I’ve learned so much today and this is the start of my new life as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
