In this video, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant Lynn Belcher, RN, BSN, MHA, CLNC explains how she created a successful legal nurse consulting business by building alliances with ten other CLNC consultants. These CLNC subcontractors empower Lynn to consult on any type of medical-related cases for attorneys.
After completing the CLNC Certification Program, several of Lynn’s close friends who are RNs working at hospital jobs told her, “I’d love to do what you do!” Lynn responded, “If you commit the time and obtain your CLNC certification we can form an alliance and work as subcontractors with each other.” She started out with one subcontractor, then two. Then, after watching my Webinar, 24 Nursing Specialties Attorneys Need to Win Cases Lynn thought, “I don’t have all those specialties.” So she asked more RNs if they were interested and just about everybody said, “I’ve always thought about doing that.”
