ICU nurse, attorney and a very successful legal nurse consultant combined into one Vickie adds up to a speedy, decisive personality. In the world of business, that can be a positive and sometimes a negative attribute.
Decisions come quickly and easily, but then again, so do judgements. Fortunately, Rudyard Kipling reminds me to look for the best in the attorneys, LegalNurse.com staff and countless Certified Legal Nurse Consultants I work with and mentor each and every day.
Aim to believe the best in people. It will save you and your legal nurse consulting business so much trouble. So what if they prove you wrong – at least you’ve given them the benefit of the doubt.

I agree to believe the best in people; give them a chance and see what happens. Like you say Vickie, “attorneys come in all shapes and sizes.” Where I come from attorneys dress in cowboy boots, jeans and a sports jacket. I dress serious and I take them serious, as they are.
We also have to believe in ourselves and what we as nurses can do…we can do anything!
