Entrepreneurs are inventors, sometimes inventing an entire business from a single idea. To be inventive in the inventing process, both entrepreneurs and inventors alike often need to break established rules. Indeed, one of the greatest inventors of all time, Thomas Edison understood the importance of working without rules.
A successful mind is an unrestricted mind. As we get older it’s common to create all kinds of rules for ourselves and for others: rules related to how you approach cases as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, rules regarding how the attorney and support staff are supposed to behave or rules about what a successful CLNC® business looks like to you.
Are you inventing your legal nurse consulting business or just inventing a bunch of rules?

As an independent CLNC® consultant rules do not belong in my business. Rules put a person inside a box, both physically and mentally. I cannot think outside a box if I box myself in, now can I?
