2015 NACLNC® Conference Cruise Update – Day 4: Education at Sea

We have all been having so much fun with our CLNC® colleagues that it was easy to forget the reasons we came on the NACLNC Conference Cruise. It’s not just the networking, partying, excursions and duty-free shopping (well maybe for some of the CLNC consultants). It’s for the education too!

Today we are at sea and since we’re at sea it’s the first day of the 2015 NACLNC Conference Sessions. For the Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, my opening speech is at 10:00am in the Lyric Theater. That gives (almost) everyone time to sleep in, enjoy a healthy breakfast and take a walk on deck in the sea air. I did say almost everyone because my staff and I will be up before sunrise to rehearse in the Lyric Theater. First crew call is 5:30am! I hope there’s lots of healthy green tea and at least one cup of hot steaming coffee. LOL 😐 .

After my opening, we’ll break for lunch and I’ll be joining you at the next continuing education session at sea which starts at a leisurely 12:15pm in the Conference Center on Deck 2. As at every NACLNC Conference, we have two tracks of cutting edge topics. I’ve personally peer-reviewed every one of them and can’t wait to enjoy the presentations by the CLNC Pros. There are some incredible topics this year (as always). I sometimes wonder how we can top ourselves each year in providing information that advanced legal nurse consultants need, but we do!

Sessions end at 5:00pm which gives us plenty of time to get ready for our special CLNC Night at the Lyric Theater on Deck 4, forward. The show starts at 7:00pm but as always, you’ll want to get there early so you can join us in the special CLNC seating section. I’ll see you at the show!

Following the show is the networking dinner and after that the night is young! Tomorrow we’re on Oranjestad, Aruba all day. Maybe I’ll take Tom on a Kukoo Kunuku bar hop and pub crawl, or maybe I’ll follow the conference theme of Hammocks, High Seas & CLNCs and just relax on the beach. It’s my first trip to Aruba and there are so many options it is going to be hard to decide.

Let’s get the party and the sessions started!

More tomorrow!

P.S. See you at 10:00am!

P.P.S. Comment here and share whether you’re coming on the next NACLNC Conference Cruise.

  1. I remember the awesome education and networking from the 2013 NACLNC® Conference Cruise. I was not able to make this conference but I will be there for the next one! To all of my CLNC® friends and those I haven’t met yet, have a great time!

  2. Sounds like a wonderful mix of fun and education. Hope you all are having fun. Count me in for the next one.
