It should come as no surprise to any Certified Legal Nurse Consultant or nurse working an RN job in a hospital that a recent Gallup Poll once again determined that nursing is the most trusted profession.
With an 80% approval rating nurses ranked well above car salesman (8%), Congress (7%), lawyers (21%) and medical doctors (65%). Since 1999 nurses have pretty much topped Gallup’s annual list of highest honesty and ethical standards among professionals. This is an immense accomplishment considering the stress nurses work under.
Consumers are at their most vulnerable when sick. The importance of trust in a nurse-patient relationship can never be overestimated.
Trust is important in your business relationship with attorneys too. Each time you walk into the office of an attorney-client or prospective client you have the advantage of this trust behind you. This is just one of the reasons that when Certified Legal Nurse Consultants speak, attorneys listen.
Today, let’s celebrate each other. God bless registered nurses!

P.S. Comment and share how the inherent trust of nurses helps you in your legal nurse consulting business.
I know I have been a hospitalized patient several times and on the receiving end, I felt like my care was in good hands. Nurses have that special touch, physically and emotionally for their patients. I am glad to hear about the public opinion as a positive attribute for nurses.
I feel valued by my attorneys and trusted. Nurses are really special to me.
