Match.com Is for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants Too

I’ve never been on Match.com or any of the other Internet dating sites for two reasons. First, I got married and was off the market before such sites existed. Second, I’m still happily married.

A good friend who’s divorced and has explored those sites shares how the first impression really is number one, especially when it comes to marketing. She says, “Sometimes I’ll see a guy I might have a lot in common with and he might be a super-nice guy, but I don’t bother reading his profile because I can’t get past his bad haircut in the photo. I’ll move on to check out the next guy who’s obviously making a nicer first impression.”

If you’re a smart Certified Legal Nurse Consultant you won’t be dating attorneys (or at least not your attorney-clients), but attorneys will be checking you out to decide if they’re interested in you and your CLNC® services. If the attorney is not impressed with your professional appearance, he probably won’t care about how well you communicate. And if he’s impressed with your professional appearance but you can’t articulate precisely and succinctly, you’ll never have a shot at showing him how well you can analyze medical-related cases. First impression counts first always, whether you’re on Match.com or marketing your legal nurse consulting business to attorneys!

P.S. Comment and share your thoughts on first impressions and how you make a good one.
