Time: A Certified Legal Nurse Consultant’s Most Precious Gift

My mom died from breast cancer at age 48 leaving many of her plans and dreams unrealized and unfulfilled. Five months ago, a dear 84-year-old friend was given four months to live, but she decided she has a lot more living to do. Both my mom and my friend reinforce the understanding that time is more valuable than money and possessions.

Is It Time to Deliver More Sack and Less Yack as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant?

Between mentoring Certified Legal Nurse Consultants and managing 23 employees, the expression “more sack, less yack” resonates with me. A CLNC consultant I have mentored numerous times highlights the importance of knowing when it’s time to stop talking and time to get in motion and start doing. She is full of good intentions and plenty of ideas, but falls short in the execution department.

I’m Just Sayin’…

Ownership is a funny thing. We all like to own things: a house, a car, an iPad2®, a legal nurse consulting business or simply a garden. Then we learn that there’s some responsibility that comes with that ownership. Stand up and look out the window. You probably don’t have to look far down your street to notice that some people are better homeowners than others.
