Do you ever long for EASY? Yesterday I sure did when my computer was behaving badly. My lifelines – Tom and my very expensive tech company were unable to come to my rescue and subsequently I was out of the computer business for six hours.
I was right on the verge of severe computer withdrawal and the accompanying fever, fits and shakes when I summoned a famous Navy SEAL slogan “The only easy day was yesterday.”
I did have options. I could take the rest of the day off (as if) or I could embrace the cold, hard reality that I was going to have to buck up and get my work done despite the fact that technology was not making it easy for me. I’ll leave it to you to guess which option I chose.
Starting a legal nurse consulting business isn’t easy. Staying in business isn’t easy. Like the Navy SEALs, we’ve lived long enough to know by now that the difficult and challenging not only tests us, they help us to exceed the limits of what we believe we are capable of. Soon what seemed hard yesterday seems easy today. Indeed, the only easy day we should ever want to know is yesterday.
Reflecting back on yesterday – it really was an easy day – I just didn’t know it at the time. I can’t wait to see what today has in store for me. LOL!
Success Is Yours,
P.S. Comment and share what the Navy SEAL slogan “The only easy day was yesterday” means to you.
