The comparison game is a trap. You can always find someone who has more than you do – more success, money, health, love or whatever it is you desire. And sometimes to make themselves feel better, people will find someone who has less (just watch Jerry Springer).
So why bother looking and comparing. Stop wanting what she’s (or he’s) having. Look instead at what you have and your gratitude will soar.
I always joke that my legal nurse consulting competitors focus on me and in turn, I focus on me too. That simple strategy has reaped huge rewards: more gratitude and the success, money, health and love that come with it. When you appreciate and are thankful for what you have, you’ll create plenty more to be grateful for.
Wishing you a spirit of gratitude during this Thanksgiving.
Success Is Yours,
P.S. Comment and share how focusing on self reaps more gratitude.
