I’ve always been more interested in surrounding myself with, and studying, successful people than studying people who fail. But unfortunately, failure is noisier than success and I witness one common failure trait so often that I can’t remain quiet about it one minute more.
Less successful people have a way of making a small thing much bigger than it is, and when they do, that small thing actually grows to become bigger than it needs to be. In contrast, successful people don’t make every little task, issue or challenge larger than life. They just get on with it – whatever “it” is.
If you find yourself procrastinating over a legal nurse consulting task, issue or challenge, check in with yourself and be honest about your perception of that task, issue or challenge. Then just do something. Being in motion always trumps dwelling on what could happen or on how much effort something is going to take.
Small issues are just that – unless you make them bigger than they need to be.
Success Is Yours,
P.S. Comment and share what you do to keep small issues from growing bigger.
