Stop the Procrastination on Your Legal Nurse Consultant Jobs

Smart Certified Legal Nurse Consultants know not to wait until the night before to write reports. I’m not a night person, so I’ve only stayed up all night once in my life to finish out a project – and that was one night too many. I’ll tell the story at the end of this blog.

I prefer to be ahead of the game so when things go wrong (and they will) – computers crash, your spouse crashes or worse, you crash – you’re not a crazy person over it. More importantly, when you wait until the last minute to do a project, that project does not get the best of you.

Getting a jump-start on the legal nurse consultant job frees you to think clearly and powerfully. The case soaks into your brain in a way that is just not possible when you’re rushing. New thoughts and ideas will arise when you’re not at your computer – when you’re eating, sleeping or working out. The result? A much stronger work product.

Don’t wait – get on your biggest legal nurse consultant job today – even if it’s just a start. The work product will reflect the thought you’ve been able to put into the case and your attorney-clients will appreciate it.

As to the rest of the story, I was going out of town for a well-earned vacation when a favorite attorney-client asked me for a rush report. I worked on it like crazy in between planning, packing and handling other clients. After working all night and drinking lots of black tea, I completed the work just as the sun came up. Tossing my backpack and the report into my car, I literally dropped it off at the attorney’s office (this was pre-Internet days) on the way to the airport. I survived the remainder of the day and the drive from Phoenix to Sedona with the car windows rolled down, drinking copious amounts of black coffee and singing along to an old Best of Queen compilation to stay awake. Short story made long – he got his report, I got my vacation and the rental car got no dents. That was my last all-nighter until I got married – but that’s a story for a different blog.

If you’re pulling too many all-nighters to meet deadlines for your legal nurse consultant jobs, it’s time to stop the procrastination.

Success Is Yours!

P.S. Comment and share your all-nighter stories.
