2017 NACLNC® Conference Cruise Update – Day 4: Duty-Free (Literally and Figuratively) in St. Thomas
I’m about to say three words that send every Certified Legal Nurse Consultant’s heart into AFib and they are, “duty-free shopping.” Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas is probably the duty-free shopping capital of the world.
The picturesque town is filled with hundreds of shops with everything from jewelry, crystal, perfume, art, electronics and more. The best part is the duty-free limit of $1,600! I’m not a shopper but even I could be tempted…
Tom and I will probably hang out on the beach or cruise around the abundant museums, gardens and art galleries that Charlotte Amalie is famous for. The beauty of the Caribbean is that your only worry today is getting back on board in time for our 8:30pm networking dinner.
Tomorrow we’re off to Philipsburg, St. Maarten for yet another day of Caribbean sunshine, beaches and relaxation.
