How often you reboot your computer depends on a number of factors. If you use a laptop in your legal nurse consulting business you probably reboot it more often than a desktop user. Some laptop users (like me) have a dock armed with dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc. Others simply put their laptop on a desk and snap it open or closed as necessary.
Smoking is tragically the single-biggest cause of preventable death in America. Seeking a “safer” (or perhaps more effective) way to deliver nicotine to their bloodstream, vaping (or e-cigarette use) is quickly becoming the trend among teenage smokers.
In June of 2014, I began a diligent search for entrepreneurial nursing opportunities. I’ve always enjoyed working for myself. Before nursing, I worked as a veterinary technician and then in pharmaceutical research. After ten years as a registered nurse, I was looking for an opportunity to work from home and build a business.
I shudder to think about the RN I’d be today if I hadn’t left my RN job at the hospital in 1982. At that time I was working overtime to pay the mortgage on my 1,200 square foot condominium and knew I was way too mouthy and opinionated to last another 35 years in a draconian institutional setting.
Something I’ve learned about computer problems is that I’m not the only one experiencing them. Yes, Mr. Thomas Tech-Tip has computer issues – probably more than most people. But something I’ve learned is that no matter what your problem may be, there is a high probability that someone else is experiencing it or has experienced it in the past.
