Because I work part time as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, there are days in which I am not involved in my CLNC business. On those days I may be caring for or visiting with my four grandchildren, reading for pleasure or reading to keep up with medical and nursing advances, gardening or exercising, volunteering as a coordinator of pastoral visitors at a hospital, involved with church-related activities, enjoying activities with my husband or visiting with friends.
If you’re one of those CLNC consultants who took the passing of Windows XP pretty hard then I’m sure you’re doubly upset about the that Microsoft will stop providing “mainstream support” for Windows 7 on January 13, 2015. What does this mean to Certified Legal Nurse Consultants? Well, my advice is to keep calm and carry on.
More than 270 media outlets across the country have picked up the report from the National Nurses’ Stress Survey and are helping get your voices heard. Some of the outlets include The Huffington Post, Fox Business Network, Medscape.com and Healthline.com.
We all want more out of life. More fun, more love, more legal nurse consulting success – more of anything that we don’t have. Mine is too frequently wanting “more hours in the day.” We can blame circumstances – not enough time, not enough money, not enough of… well, just not enough. But we find enough time to watch Game of Thrones, enough money to take a daily trip to Starbucks® and enough energy to vent about someone who has no impact on our life.
Let’s face it. Passwords are the second weakest link in data security – people are the first. The reason people occupy that top spot is that people, CLNC consultants included, have lousy password security.
The elephant (how poorly RNs are treated) has been in the hospital room for decades. The Nurses’ Stress Survey merely validated what you and I already knew. Nurses are completely stressed out and hospitals are to blame for it.
Exciting news for RNs! The national media has picked up on the results of the National Nurses’ Stress Survey. Live today, I will be addressing the elephant in the hospital room, i.e., dangerous levels of stress among RNs. Tune in (or, if you’ll be hard at work at your RN hospital job, set your DVR) today, June 7, 12:15pm EST on FOX Business Network’s Varney & Co. show.
We are privileged to live in a country where we are free to express our ideas and free to live out our dreams and desires. We are free to come and go as we please. But before we can enjoy all that freedom affords us, we must first free our minds and emotions from those self-defeating thoughts and behaviors that keep us from knowing and living our full potential.
Tom’s Tech Tip: Great (and Safe) Vacation Photos – One Less Stressor for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants
It’s summer vacation time and hopefully every Certified Legal Nurse Consultant is taking a break from their legal nurse consulting business and is out there having fun and sharing their photos on social media. But, there is one privacy worry that everyone, CLNC consultants included, should have and it’s one that many people rarely think about.
