Tom’s Tech Tip: Staying Up-to-Date on Technology Is Not that Difficult for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants

I love technology and I love that fact that it changes constantly. I bemoan the fact that every leap forward with one device or technology often means a leap backward in another. But that’s also known as the learning curve. The more things change the better things will be – or so I believe. That being said, attorneys and CLNC® consultants need a good resource to keep themselves ahead, or at least aware, of the latest advances in technology that could affect their law or legal nurse consulting practices.

My favorite website for tech news, information on software, reviews and more is techcrunch.com. The site first came to my attention after they interviewed Vickie regarding social media. It’s pithy, useful and to the point. Another terrific resource is the Technologist blog at findlaw.com. While this is more pointed at legal technology, the wealth of knowledge presented there is sure to help every Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with technology they can use in their legal nurse consulting business.

It’s not that difficult to stay up-to-date with technology, but it does take some time and effort. So get started before it’s too late.

Keep on Techin’,

Tom

P.S. Comment and share your favorite online or offline technology resource (besides me).
