I love dance of all kinds and have seen some of the greats – Baryshnikov, Nureyev, Alonso, Godunov. Their technique was flawless, but it’s not technique that made them great. It was the fire inside.
That brings to mind two dancers at the Houston Ballet. One – her technique isn’t perfect, but her passion is inspiring. The other is flawless, but less interesting. The dancer on fire, that’s the dancer I like to watch.
In your legal nurse consulting business, I want you to produce as perfect of a work product as you can, but what I really want is for you to be on fire.
I like to think I write a near perfect report for attorneys, but 31 years later with thousands of cases under my belt, I’m certain it’s my fire that’s drawn attorneys to me. That’s been my dance for 31 years. It’s my secret ingredient – but, of course, if you know me at all you know my passion and fire are no secret.
