I have the privilege of knowing most of the CLNC consultants in the NACLNC® Association and they are one of the most diverse groups of professionals I’ve ever met. It’s the diversity in their CLNC businesses that is the clue to the first step you will want to take in launching your legal nurse consulting business.
First, decide what you want your CLNC business to look like in five years. Do you want to have a small, solo business and work from your sail boat or just from your home office? Do you want to work a 4-hour work week or a 40-hour week? Do you want to grow your legal nurse consulting business beyond yourself and hire CLNC subcontractors and even, gasp, employees?
You don’t have to know exactly where you’re headed. I certainly didn’t 31 years ago. But taking this first step will help you to set the strategies in motion to launch your business as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with the intention that matches you and your unique desires.

P.S. Comment and share where you want to be in five years.
Where do I want to be in 5 years?
***I want to be in Hawaii soaking up the sun while my subcontractors are hard at work making my CLNC® business a huge success!!!
When I do return home from Hawaii, I want to be a speaker at LegalNurse.com’s CLNC 6-Day Certification Seminar and become a mentor for future CLNC consultants because my mentors have truly given me confidence to press on!!
We are successful CLNC’s!!
