When You Can’t Solve a Problem – At Least Show Up Right

I recently faced a personal problem that I couldn’t solve. This is a hard one for someone like me who is always telling my staff (and family), “Let’s focus on the solution, not the problem.”

Revelation – even in those moments when we know there is no solution at hand, we have to reach down into our deepest self and pull up the one thing we can guarantee in life – our humanity. None of us can escape life’s challenges. All we can do is control how we show up when they do present and present they will.

Personal or business, this is our lasting legacy.

This I know for certain…

P.S. Comment and share your personal thoughts.

  1. “Tapping our humanity” can become our ‘mantra’ with all the challenges we face both personally and professionally. Vickie, this was very timely for me and refreshing. Thanks.

  2. The past few years have been a complete remodel of my life. It has been very challenging. I came across this one day and it really resonated for me. “Sometimes, some things fall apart to make room for other things to fall together”!

  3. My daily practice is to be grateful for all things. Trust that all challenges in life will ultimately become your greatest gifts.
