Here’s a great example of a CLNC® consultant who didn’t underprice herself. She stood tough with attorneys who tried to negotiate her into a set fee on a case instead of her regular hourly rate. Thank you, Denise, for maintaining the integrity of our industry. Fantastic! Congratulations on your success! The CLNC® Mentors have saved me multiple times from making unwise decisions. As Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, what would we do without the amazing network that Vickie and the Institute have created for us? I certainly would never have believed that “we are nurses and we can do anything.” I too have had attorneys try to negotiate my fee. Stand on your set fee and as part of your marketing plan, include incentives for first time attorneys and rewards for repeat business from your attorneys.
Congratulations, Denise. You are a good example of ‘WE ARE CLNC® consultants and we are worth what we charge and more. Too often we undervalue our worth because of lack of confidence. We need to take our stand, exude confidence, and go for the gold in everything we do in our career and our lives.

I have answered a job posting and am hoping for my first interview with one of the largest law firms in my state that has over 75 attorneys.
