Take the Stage for Legendary CLNC® Success After the 2010 National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants Conference with These 5 Award Winning Strategies

My heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the Certified Legal Nurse Consultants who attended our successful 2010 NACLNC® Conference in Nashville. Our sell-out gathering was a spectacular event, and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. It was great to see and talk with all of you again.

I’m sure you’ve already started to “Take the Stage” for more legendary success in your CLNC® business. Here are just a few tips to get you started as you execute the new unconventional strategies that only CLNC® legends know.

  1. Based on what you learned at the 2010 NACLNC® Conference, decide on one new CLNC® service you will provide to every attorney-client. Offer to provide that new CLNC® service the first time for a discounted rate to get them hooked.
  2. Reconnect with your attorney-clients by sending a note to let them know you’ve attended the NACLNC® Conference for additional education and to renew your CLNC® Certification. Remind them that this is your way to better serve them and their clients.
  3. Send a news release to your community newspaper announcing your completion of this advanced Certified Legal Nurse Consultant training and renewal of your CLNC® Certification.
  4. Commit now to review your 2010 NACLNC® Conference textbook and all the meaningful notes you took. Listen to the audio recordings of the conference once a week, once a month and once a year after the conference. Repetition helps you integrate and implement the principles and strategies successfully. With each review, you will hear the information in a new way because you’ll be more experienced. Each time you listen, you’ll generate even better ideas. After each review, create three new action steps to propel your CLNC® business to the next level.
  5. Continue your success: mark your calendar and sign up now for the 2011 NACLNC® Conference where you’ll Pirate Your Way to CLNC® Success as a CLNC® Consultant of the Caribbean.

Success Is Inside!

P.S. Please comment and share your favorite personal experience at the 2010 NACLNC® Conference.

  1. My favorite “personal” experience was reuniting with a dear friend–Poppy Sorrels– I had lost touch with for more than 20 years. We found each other on FaceBook a few weeks ago and noticed we had one FB friend in common: Vickie Milazzo! Lo and behold, we were both planning to attend the NACLNC® Conference in Nashville! This was very sweet frosting on a very substantive “cake” of continuing education at the CLNC® event. I look forward to nurturing my renewed friendship with Poppy AND–thanks to the inspiring presentations and opportunities for networking in Nashville–my CLNC® business in the months and years to come.

  2. Absolutely wonderful NACLNC® Conference. It was very informative and fun. I loved the networking and reconnecting with some old colleagues. The courses were educational and informative. I especially enjoyed the courses offered by Dale Barnes, Susan Arragg, Dorene Goldstein and Tamara Shilling. All of the presentations were professional and provided me with a wealth of knowledge and the passion to drive my business into high gear. Thank you for all of the effort put into the NACLNC® Conference to make this a memorable experience. I look forward to the cruise in 2011, and will continue to refer my colleagues to the LegalNurse.com. I loved Tom and his sense of humor!

  3. Really, I learned so much my brain is exhausted.
Everyone I spoke with was most kind and patient. Especially the “successful CLNC® consultants.” I think the high was running into old pals from LegalNurse.com’s CLNC® 6-Day Certification Seminar. Running into my fellow classmates from Sept ’09 class was the best. I learned a lot of marketing tips during the breaks- I figure the next time I go to an NACLNC® Conference I might skip the scheduled talks and just hang out in the hallways!

  4. A very lovely NACLNC® Conference in Nashville. Great contacts, good food and wonderful lectures. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you.

  5. Wow! The NACLNC® Conference was great. Fun people. I enjoyed the networking. I hope those who attended my presentation on Autism learned some tips for their CLNC® practice. Great experience being a presenter. Thanks to all in the Institute who helped me along the way. Will be cruising next year for sure.

  6. My favorite “personal” experience was the opportunity to share my personal experiences with infertility, both as a patient, and as a registered nurse working in that same field. I found that Certified Legal Nurse Consultants are always interested in gaining a better understanding of nursing specialties outside their comfort zones. I had the privilege of “picking the brains” of numerous CLNC® consultants regarding several issues related to cases that I am currently working with in my CLNC® practice, and acquired a great deal of knowledge as a result! Congrats to all of us as CLNC® consultants for continuing our contribution to the integrity and professionalism of the nursing profession!

  7. I cannot find the words that describe what fun I had at this year’s NACLNC® Conference. I was so proud to be a speaker in a setting where so many people take learning in such a serious manner. I always feel the energy of the new CLNC® consultants and the determination and success of the more veteran CLNC® consultants. I am so thrilled to have been part of such a wonderful group of professional nurses. Looking forward to cruising into next year. Much success to everyone!!!!

  8. My favorite personal experience was the professional receptiveness of such a large group during my chain of command presentation. I was privileged to have the opportunity to be a part of such a successful organization and appreciate all the help of Vickie and the staff at the Institute. I look forward to seeing many familiar happy faces again on the cruise.

  9. The NACLNC® Conference in Nashville was a great time to network with new friends, re-connect with classmates from the Vegas ’09 CLNC® 6-Day Certification Seminar, and to glean inspiring and helpful information that will help move my business forward. One of the highlights was the closing session with Genevieve Bos and (of course) Tom’s costumes and sense of humor. I really appreciated the time set aside for networking because the conference went by WAY too fast. Looking forward to the 2011 NACLNC® Conference cruise.
