Certified Legal Nurse Consultants using Windows XP have long envied that cool rotating menu the Mac OS X Dock has, that floats around the bottom or top of the Mac screen and fans out your icons. It’s a much better looking menu than that darn Windows menu that pops up when you click the Start Button. It also beats stashing short-cuts all over your Windows Desktop.
Now there’s a cure for Mac Envy – visit RocketDock.com and you can download a customizable version of the Dock made especially for Windows! This is not an official Windows or Mac product so you use it at your own risk. Remember to be careful, always back-up your computer as well as any files before you place them on the RocketDock. I’ve had mine for about two weeks and I love it! I’m sure you’ll love it too (it freaked out my Mac-user buddy).

Tom- this is great, thanks! While I have a Macbook, my other computers in my office are PC’s. I’m going to try downloading this application on them. (First I’ll be sure to back up all my files in case they crash from the program!)
Thanks for always giving us great tips!
As a lifelong PC user and wife of a Techie, I have yet to experience Mac envy. Windows Vista has been flawless despite the bad press and I look forward to seeing Windows 7 in action. My iPod Touch was the closest I came to incorporating Mac into my life but once it was stolen (along with the car being broken into) I turned back to my Blackberry and have been happy ever since.
I do use Macbooks to run human patient simulators for healthcare competency training so I have repeated exposure but have not had an experience that would trigger my adoption of an OSX platform. This download looks fun though!
Another Windows-centric friend told me this download is for someone who’s always wanted a Mac, but doesn’t want to be seen using one!
