Video – Susan Thibeault, RN, MS, MBA, APRN, CRNA, EMT-P, CLNC

In this video, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant Susan Thibeault, RN, MS, MBA, APRN, CRNA, EMT-P, CLNC shares how she turned an accident into her first legal nurse consultant job with a personal injury attorney representing her.

Working with the attorney on her own case she realized “I’m a nurse, and I can help that attorney with his medical malpractice cases and provide value to him.” The next day she saw an advertisement in a nursing journal for LegalNurse.com’s Legal Nurse Consultant Certification and thought “This is a sign! I have to do this.”

Susan (a CRNA) casually mentioned her plan to become a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and work on legal nurse consultant jobs with attorneys to her personal injury attorney. He replied, “Sue, I’m reviewing a case that involves anesthesia and a difficult intubation resulting in injury. Would you be interested in taking a look at it?”

Naturally she jumped at the opportunity for her first legal nurse consultant job. As a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant through the LegalNurse.com, she is cashing in on the attorney’s promise to consult with her in the future. Congratulations Susan for turning your personal injury attorney into your first attorney-client!
