Certified Legal Nurse Consultant Keitha Giannella, RN, MSN, PHN, CLNC shares her experience of exhibiting with the CLNC Marketing Mentors at a national legal conference. Near the close of the exhibits, Keitha realized she had door prizes she had not yet given away to attorney-prospects.
Rather than pack and carry them home, she vowed to award each and every one. Keitha texted one of the attorneys she was especially impressed with, letting her know that she was holding a prize for her.
The attorney stopped by, and to Keitha’s surprise brought two medical malpractice attorneys with her. Thinking on her feet, Keitha awarded them all prizes and collected their information for follow-up. Just days later, while Keitha was on the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC®) Conference Cruise, the attorneys replied to her immediate follow-up telling her they were anxious to use her legal nurse consulting services on a case.
Just because your exhibiting event is ending doesn’t mean your marketing opportunities are over. The attorneys attend evening networking events and you will want to take advantage of every opportunity outside of the exhibit booth to market your CLNC services.
