Step Up to Step Out as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant!
When you step out to become a CLNC® consultant you’re making the first and most important decision in your new career as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. But stepping out also requires that you step up. This means that you’ve got to step up and embrace new thoughts to see yourself as a successful Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Then you have to step up and embrace discomfort as you study the CLNC® Certification Program and learn all kinds of new information that will challenge what you think you know.
Once you pass the CLNC® Certification Examination, then it’s time to step up and step out to market your CLNC® business, even when attorneys say “no” to you. And when they say “yes” you have to step up and produce quality work product and provide quality service, day after day after day, even when it’s not convenient.
Go ahead, step up to step out as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. When you do, the CLNC® Mentors and I will be here for you. I promise!
Christella, I am in a similar situation…right before I got my CLNC® certification, I started a new job so I could get benefits and be free from my old job of being a floor nurse (SO not for me!!!) and right after I got certified I was in training for six months at this new job! My schedule has been so crazy, including taking 3 classes a semester to get my BSN, so I have made the decision to become committed to sending marketing materials to 10 attorneys each week and following up with them the next week. AND I’m going to drop down to part time in April so that I can put more energy into my business!! Go us!!!
Rachel: You are an awesome person whom I got to meet at the CLNC® 6-Day Certification Seminar. You are a professional and present well. Getting out there and marketing is not an easy task for any nurse, but it can be done. We have great role models and CLNC® Mentors who have been and continue to be a lot of support to me when I get stuck and need answers. I have to say how much I appreciate what it took to get Vickie to where she is today – she never gave up. I credit Vickie’s constant advertising for me becoming a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. That is what marketing does, it gets you out there.
