I received an engraved iPad for Christmas from my awesome husband! My resolution was to get an app to transfer documents from my laptop for consulting work as well as for a medical records interpretation class that I teach. While speaking with an Apple rep. about my iPhone, he suggested the "iWork" series, specifically "pages," to create, import & share Word documents. So sad that it took me about a month to get to it because it was ridiculously easy to transfer documents. It's great to take the iPad to do work when I travel & teach instead of lugging around my dinosaur laptop.

Thank You Tom for all your Tuesday tech tips!!! I am so glad you are there for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. One of my New Year's goals is to set up my new notebook PC I received back in early December!!! I have it set up with my cell phone service as my laptop at home is set up with my land line. Very Excited to to finish my CLNC® training now that my house is in order after the holidays and such. Have set up another new business as well as organizing my office for CLNC® studies and work. Take care!

Can't wait to be more portable that ever with a lighter weight PC!!

Say Hi to Vickie for me.

I look forward to your Tech Tips every Tuesday! I no longer make resolutions but set goals instead. I use January 1st to contemplate where I've been, where I am, and where I want to go. I compare the goals from past years to see/realize what I have accomplished. I set 1 yr goals, 5 yr goals and 10 yr goals. I write them down and put them away. Somehow that kicks my subconscious into gear and I seem to accomplish goals without consciously working toward them and sometimes not realizing it until I review them. I try to keep them realistic and meaningful...now, about your second resolution...have you used Sharepoint? We have started using it in our office and I am sold! you can share documents and there is a discussion board...you control who sees what...check it out...and have a great day!
