Yesterday I learned that the Vietnamese version of my Wall Street Journal bestseller Inside Every Woman: Using the 10 Strengths You Didn’t Know You Had to Get the Career and Life You Want Now was published.
When you sell the foreign rights, the new publisher creates a new cover, usually different than the original U.S. version. As a result, it’s fun to see how each country treats the cover of my book and how it varies from country to country.

I like the cover of the Vietnamese version of Inside Every Woman. I think it is very mysterious and made me curious about the content.

All the covers are beautiful and the difference between them makes me feel perfect, especially since they are arranged together. Actually, I like the Vietnamese cover most. It made me think about the magic and wonderful strengths Inside Every Women!

I think the Indonesian cover is interesting for being from the world’s largest muslim nation and showing an American looking woman with free flowing uncovered hair and low cut jeans; like an invitation to liberation from traditional roles. The Vietnamese cover, from a Buddist nation (at least before communism) shows the eye representing looking inward to find those 10 strengths. Both very nice.

Next to your original Vickie, I liked the Vietnamese cover for Inside Every Woman. The eye is the window to the soul which is how I perceived the Vietnamese version.

I like the English/American book cover, of course, because it portrays the woman as strong, agile and determined to get to the top! Great book and great cover.
