This was my first NACLNC^® Conference. I am just blown away! All of my goals and expectations were met exceedingly above all I could ask or think. I will be attending the 2010 NACLNC^® Conference in Nashville. One of my goals, while at the conference, was to recruit subcontractors. My goal was 25, however, by the time the conference ended I had 28! Now all I have to do is put my plan into action and put all these wonderful CLNC^® consultants to work. Oh, by-the-way, tell Texas Pete (alias Tom) I so enjoyed his Tomentaries. I really enjoyed listening to Stedman Graham. Thanks for inviting me.

The NACLNC^® Conference was exceptional, as always! Wanted to share a letter I wrote to the Marriott GM, since I was so personally inspired by their ever present and successful customer service!

Subject: The Umbrella Story

Good Morning Mr. Quinn,

As I return to Pennsylvania, from another wonderful NACLNC^® Conference held in San Antonio, I must acknowledge a spectacular March 13, 2009 event!

During our stay, we Riverwalk’d, we revered the Alamo, we Howled at the Moon, we learned so much at the conference, and listened to Stedman Graham tell us about success. We slept in the most comfortable beds, and ate fabulous food at Mi Tierra, Shilo’s, Bigo’s and Saltgrass. We also drank way too many margaritas and too much red wine, but it was well worth it!

All of that said, I find myself telling my family and friends first and foremost, the story about how your Marriott employees, lined the sidewalk and street, holding umbrellas over our heads, as we crossed to have lunch at the Riverwalk!

It was the most extraordinary customer service experience that I have ever encountered! As we walked under this beautiful array of assistance, each and every employee had a huge smile on their face, and a kind word to utter….to each of the Certified Legal Nurse Consultants! As caregivers at the soul of our being, to be part of this experience was quite humbling, and nearly brings me to tears when I speak of it.
I do not know how, but I would like to thank each and every single Marriott employee, who stood so tall, and beautiful, holding those umbrellas, so that they understand how deeply impressed we were, and that their service has not gone unrecognized!

We had a fabulous time in San Antonio, and the Marriott had a great deal to do with all of it! Many

I met some awesome nurses and mentors at this year’s conference. I wanted to comment on how going above and beyond can elevate your business to the next level. There is a reason why the Marriott is above the rest in hotel hostmanship! When all of us headed across the street on Friday for lunch there were several (approximately 25+ at least) employees that were holding umbrellas in a line for us so we wouldn’t get wet.

I know the CLNC^® consultants around me were blown away by this courtesy. It made me think of ways I can rise above and beyond to serve my attorney-client. I asked for a business card and will be sure to write a letter of praise for their extreme attention to service.

I am one of the CLNC^® consultants who had to miss this year's NACLNC^® Conference. I am a new CLNC^® consultant and since I could not attend, I have committed to going back to the Core Curriculum for Legal Nurse Consulting^® with fresh ears (for the third time!) to get even more out of my training that just ended in December. And my goal is to not only attend in the conference in 2010, but to bring my husband, also an RN and planning to get his CLNC^® Certification this year. I am also meeting with an old friend next week who wants to ask about becoming a CLNC^® consultant, so maybe we will bring a party with us! At the very least, there will be three more believers in this life Vickie is helping us all attain. Thank you for having a program that has such integrity and is packed full of useful information.

Vickie, I echo the above sentiments regarding the curriculum. This being my first NACLNC^® conference, I wasn't sure how valuable the proposed topics would be. Boy, was I happily surprised. Each session I attended brought me not only knowledge, but expertise to use in my CLNC^® business. Once again, your attention to detail and your thoughtfulness were evident and much appreciated.

I want to thank you for such a wonderful experience at the 2009 NACLNC^® Conference. I’m writing right now from my office, which I must admit is not a place I had spent much time before the conference. I am a new consultant – just certified in October 2008. Boy, did the conference give me a kick in the rear and a slap in the face! What really did it for me was something you said to me the very first night in the VIP Reception. You came up and asked how it had been going getting the business going and I said “I’m trying….” and you said how much you hate that word – “Try.” I had never really thought about it like that before, but now I understand what you mean and I WILL (not try to!) get that word out of my vocabulary! Thank you so much for everything you do for us!

This was my second year attending the NACLNC^® Conference and it was even better than the first year! The curriculum and choices of sessions were so diverse with informative speakers, and the continued networking lunches and reception again proved very valuable and so much fun! I am home now and so pumped up to Move Like a Maverick for Breakaway CLNC^® Success! I can't wait for Nashville in 2010!
