Tom and Vickie, you never cease to amaze me with all the knowledge and expertise you share with us who are relatively new to this field! Thank you! I've been in business as a CLNC® consultant since coming home from Cape Cod for the 5 day Private Apprenticeship, and have done 15 cases through December 2008. Since January 1st, I earned 3 cases from attorneys and another that I'm subcontracting on for another CLNC® consultant! This is the year to expand, and with your help and information, it's happening! The Scan Snap is a wonderful Invention!

I will be presenting a brief session on research for an attorney's office next week and your article "Google Smarter Not Harder" had a few tips that I did not know. But I know them now. The attorney shared that getting good information that relates to his case is a frustration for him. He had hired a doctor who did not relate what he had found to his client's personal injury case. Thanks to your tips and the CLNC® Mentors I am going to the attorney's office with a bag full of carrots to dangle.

Diana, it sure is the same thing. They go by any number of names but no matter what you call them, they're still handy!

Tom, Is this USB memory also called a "thumb drive?" The computer tech who periodically comes into my office backed up my files on what he called a thumb drive. He had always used discs before. It is a little white gadget that says DataTraveler 1GB. It is about a half inch by one and a half inch and very flat. It reminds me of a lancet cocked and ready stick a finger for a blood sugar. And as a creature of habit, I have this urge to wear gloves and avoid the tip when I handle it.

I have been doing CLE presentations and I can see how this would make transporting power point or other information easier and less cumbersome especially if the venue is already set up electronically. Thanks.

Hi Tom, if there is one thing I have already learned it is your statement "not if but when." My computer crashed and took with it a 35 page paper for my MBA program...This was a very serious lesson for me and I have never been without backup of one kind or another since. I appreciate your and Vickie’s advice. I just took my CLNC® Certification Exam on the 16th and passed thankfully, so now all the words and advice on setting up communications are very helpful and appreciated greatly.
