In this video Meghan D’Angelo, RN, MSN, CLNC shares three strategies that will help every CLNC consultant obtain more legal nurse consultant jobs in 2017.
- Connect on LinkedIn. Meghan connected not only with attorneys but also with a legal reporter on LinkedIn who writes for a legal newspaper. The reporter interviewed her and Meghan landed in a front page article in a legal newspaper that went to more than 50,000 attorneys in her area. From that article she gained an attorney-client who has given her a steady flow of legal nurse consultant jobs.
- Add a contact form to your website. Websites market your legal nurse consulting business 24/7 and you don’t want to miss an attorney-prospect while you’re sleeping. A simple contact form on every page of your website allows attorneys to submit a request for information, a telephone call or live interview at any hour of any day.
- Consult on cases outside of your specialty. While Meghan is a pediatric nurse, her legal nurse consultant jobs are all over the map. Meghan’s agility and openness to manage a variety of cases contributes to a steady flow of work. As Meghan suggests, the basic tenants of nursing science are universal and she always has access to the 3,500 CLNC consultants in the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC®) for subcontracting.
Thanks Meghan for sharing these three strategies for obtaining more legal nurse consultant jobs in 2017.
