Today is the first day of the 2015 National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants Conference Cruise. My staff and I flew in yesterday and had a fun time exploring historic San Juan, Puerto Rico before we board the Adventure of the Seas later today.
The last time I was in San Juan a friend and I were attending a nursing conference. I wish you could have seen the look she gave me when Tom mentioned at dinner recently that we were going to San Juan. “Thanks for that Carol, now Tom won’t let me out of his sight until we’re back home in Houston.” LOL!
Tonight is our NACLNC Conference Registration starting at 7:15pm in Studio B on Deck 3. Immediately following registration you and your cabinmates are all invited to join us for the famous (or infamous) NACLNC Welcome Reception right there on the ice skating rink in Studio B from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. No skates are required (LOL!) and you won’t have to worry about spilling your tropical drinks because we’ll have the ice covered over. That way there’s no chance of slipping or accidently doing a double-axel to show off your figure skating skills.
Come and meet and greet all your CLNC® colleagues and kick-off our 8-days of Hammocks, High Seas & CLNCs. Just don’t fill up too much on drinks or snacks because our special seating in the Adventure’s dining room awaits us at 8:30pm. Remember, there’s a potential subcontractor at every table – just sayin’.
After the reception and just before dinner, you might want to go out on deck and raise a champagne toast to Old San Juan as the Adventure of the Seas sets sail for our own NACLNC adventure at sea. Let’s all get our CLNC legs on tonight because at sea the possibilities are endless!
More tomorrow!
P.S. This is just the first of my NACLNC Conference Cruise updates. Stay tuned whether you’re onboard, overboard or at home!
P.P.S. Comment and wish your CLNC peers smooth seas and happy sailing!
