Tom’s Tech Tip: Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Microsoft® Office Products for iOS Rock!

It took me completely by surprise, but earlier this month Microsoft released versions of its Office productivity software Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as three separate apps for the iOS. That means that Certified Legal Nurse Consultants who are iPhone® and iPad® users can enjoy the benefits of reading, creating and editing legal nurse consulting documents on their iOS devices.

This is a major turnaround from a company that had originally offered these apps only on a subscription basis. Android® versions are in the works too. It looks like Microsoft has finally recognized that it’s a mobile world and it’s time to get mobile. One caveat – you’ll need to create a free account with Microsoft before you can use your free apps with your legal nurse consulting business, but that’s the way of the world. If, like all my CLNC® amigos, you use a password manager like Dashlane you’ll have no problem keeping up with the passwords for all your free accounts.

I’ve downloaded the Word and Excel apps for both my iPhone and iPad and will be working with them over the next couple of weeks. I recommend you do the same and can’t wait to hear comments from all my CLNC amigos about your experiences with these new productivity apps.

Keep on Techin’,

Tom

P.S. Comment and share your experiences with the new Microsoft Office apps for your legal nurse consulting business!
