The Logistics of Taking the CLNC^® Exam

Choosing a Test Site

Once you are notified of your eligibility to take the CLNC^® Exam, you will be responsible for contacting Prometric Testing Centers or Sylvan Technology Centers to make a test appointment. The toll-free number is 866.496.9749. Prometric Testing Centers are located across the United States, Canada and U.S. territories. For a listing of test site cities, click here. This list is updated quarterly. Please contact Prometric at the above number to locate the most current sites in your area. Registrars at Prometric Testing Centers (formerly Sylvan Technology Centers) always have a current listing of testing centers.

You have 90 days from the date of your notice of eligibility in which to take the examination. If you do not take the exam within that period, you forfeit all testing fees. Test appointments may be made Monday through Saturday (except on certain holidays) based on availability.

Refunds

	Challenge Candidate Determined Ineligible – Applicants challenging the exam who are determined ineligible (those who do not meet eligibility requirements) will receive a refund of $450. A $50 application fee is non-refundable.
	Unsuccessful Candidates – If you sit for the exam and do not receive a passing score, you are not eligible for any refund. You can retest at any time for a retesting fee of $150.
